Deaf Signed Service

The monthly Sunday service is completely in sign language, and is lead by regular members of the congregation. Our Preachers may be either Jim Iland or Jason Ellis or an invited preacher; these have included Laurence Banks, Bob McFarland.

We meet once a month on a Sunday morning at 11.30am in the upstairs lounge at CGC and hold a house group two Fridays a month at The Chapel. Signing Interpreters are also available throughout some other Sunday services in the main auditorium.

Congregation

The people who come to the signed service include Deaf and deafened people, hearing people who are learning or are proficient signers, their friends and even those who are just interested to see what is going on.

There is no voice over at this service

For those who want to come to the hearing service in between Deaf signed services, when Sue and Val can both be there they offer to sign at the 9.30 service. Contact Val here
