Lighthouse
Lighthouse is our local Care Confidential Centre which aims to offer a safe, non-judgemental environment where women (and their partners) can discuss their options concerning an unplanned pregnancy or work through their issues following abortion, miscarriage, still-birth, ectopic pregnancy or failed IVF.
It is supported by a number of local churches and individuals and we aim to facilitate the work by giving financially and through volunteer support.
Training Course
Lighthouse is planning to start a training course for anyone interested in becoming part of the counselling team working with those who have an unplanned pregnancy, post abortion issues and difficulties around mis-carriage, still-birth.
