As a church we believe it important to engage unconditionally with people and the wider community.

  We care, listen and build relationship through community serving projects and activities.   The projects and activities are delivered through volunteers at CGC and the wider community in conjunction with Community Works (www.communityworks.mobi), a parallel organisation and Social Enterprise designed and established to fund, manage and administrate a number of non faith based community initiatives for the benefit of Chelmsford. In addition CGC volunteers work closely with Money Advice Chelmsford. MAC is a debt advice service for the community.
